The Gewista has expanded its product portfolio into a further attention- grabbing Transport Media-staging – the Brand Area. Initially, the Brand Area enables the branding of wall surfaces in 7 wide-coverage metro stations and can be booked from now on in combination with Gewista Digital City Lights.

The Brand Area is the latest product, a transport media staging by Gewista and enables foliation brandings in the metro stations, supplemented with Digital City Lights. In the first rollout phase, the stations of Stephansplatz, Schottenring, Karlsplatz, Messe Wien – Digital City Lights can also be booked here – Vienna International Centre, Neubaugasse and the Zieglergasse are available. The branding format sizes in the metro stations range from 35m2 to 235m2 and, in combination with the 80 and 32 inch sized Digital City Lights, produce an impressive advertising presence. The standard booking time period, analogous to Digital City Lights, whose entire 60 second loop is included, amounts to 1 week, with Monday as the start day. Further metro stations will follow.

“I am pleased to be able to introduce the advertising industry to our new product, the Brand Area. The Brand Area is an alternative to our Station-Brandings - which enable the entire advertising integration of the metro stations – and can be booked from now on. The branding in metro stations on select, premium surface areas, in combination with Digital City Lights, offers an impressive advertising presence that, in total, reaches one hundred thousand passers-by daily and remains in the memory for a long time.”

The reference campaign of Wiener Städtische impressively demonstrates this new form of advertising. Sabine Weiss (Msc), advertising director at Wiener Städtische discusses this:
“In many respects we are breaking new ground with our new image campaign. Our themes centered on the song “Ois Ok”, for which we collaborate with the Austrian pop duo Seiler and Speer, carry a core message: Cast your worries aside and live life! We chose the Station Brandings at Stephansplatz and Schottenring to lend our campaign additional impact. The mix of analogue and digital advertising surface areas has given us the opportunity to show the best of both worlds: Our impressive billboard themes and the best scenes from music videos.”
