Just how innovative and diverse Out of Home can be has been demonstrated yet again today at the annual jury meeting for the “Out of Home Award 2015“, which took place as usual in the Austrian Lottery’s Studio 44. A highly-qualified creative jury, made up of representatives from the largest national advertising and creative agencies will evaluate 3,100 themes in the categories of Billboard, City Light, Rolling Board, Transport Media, Megaboard, Innovative & Ambient Media, Culture as well as the digital Out of Home category.
The ‘Out of Home Award’, says Gewista CEO, KR Karl Javurek, ‘is taking place today, 16th May, and enjoys continued popularity”. The numerous themes and above all, the high quality of work, provide insights into the high significance of Out of Home on the agency scene as well as ad economy and the types of unique design opportunities on offer by the Out of Home Media sector. The category, “Digital Out of Home”, was included for the first time last year and continues to be highly popular in its second year of existence, since our new digital media formats give creative minds a unique, new playing field, for developing even more impressive ideas and concepts on behalf of their clients. For this reason, we have also established, with the development of Vienna’s seven biggest underground stations, digital screens on Vienna’s main shopping street, Mariahilferstraße, and at top locations throughout Vienna’s city centre, which will be extended to the state capitals alongside expansion within the capital.“
