Vienna, October 11, 2021: Gewista continues its expansion with the creation of the new unit "Data & Programmatic Strategy." New to Gewista, Florian Wagner, who brings years of experience, will take over the management of this unit.

Gewista continues its expansion with the creation of the new unit "Data & Programmatic Strategy." New to Gewista, Florian Wagner, who brings years of experience, will take over the management of this unit.  Wagner, a strategy and digitalization specialist, most recently worked for Adverserve of Post AG.

Digital expert Florian Wagner is a communications scientist who has held leadership positions at leading media agencies. He was most recently Strategy Director at the digitalization expert Adverserve.  In that role, he advised companies on the implementation and further development of their digital footprint in the marketplace.

"Florian Wagner is a technically skilled digital expert and a widely recognized strategist for holistic media planning.  With this skills set, he is the right person to help lead Gewista into the future, with an understanding of both our core business and a focus on the challenges ahead," says Gewista CEO Franz Solta.

Communications expert Wagner will report directly to CEO Franz Solta and will work closely with the Out-Of-Home world market leader and Gewista parent company JCDecaux to develop new business opportunities.

New focus: Data & Programmatic Ad Strategy

For Gewista, a new era of Out-of-Home advertising is evolving.  With the possibilities of programmatic advertising, client companies will be able to display advertising flexibly and data-assisted in real time. Hand in hand with the outdoor advertiser's new direction is the launch of the "VIOOH" [pronounced as “view”] booking platform, which will offer automated booking of outdoor advertising space for the first time.

"In the future, we will enable our customers to get even closer to their target consumers with their messages.  By applying our technologies and data resources to serve our clients, we will help fill in what were previously blind spots with dynamic messaging content," says Florian Wagner about his plans at Gewista.
